Training of Nurse Educators Workshop
365体育投注 College of Nursing 365体育投注 has organized a ten days Training of Nurse Educators (ToN) Workshop on “Geriatric Health Care and 365体育投注” under ICMR-DHR funded project from August 5th to 14th, 2015.

Total of 14 Nurse Educators from Mangalore, Udupi and 365体育投注 had registered for the workshop. The main focus of the workshop was on Geriatric Health Care and Geriatric Health 365体育投注. In Geriatric Health Care aspect, sessions focused on assessment of elderly, basic skills for Gerontological Nursing, nursing management of older adults with common health problems, psychosocial care of elderly, ethical and legal issues related to care of elderly, Geriatric communication, guidance & counselling, elderly abuse, and rehabilitation of elderly. In Geriatric Health 365体育投注 aspect, sessions focused on different aspects of research methodology and statistical analysis with special emphasis on Geriatric 365体育投注 area. Resource persons were the senior faculty of College of Nursing, Statistics Dept. of 365体育投注 Academy of Higher Education and Community Medicine Dept. of KMC 365体育投注. Brain storming session, Group discussion, article critiquing and hands on experience on statistical software packages were the highlights of the workshop. ?
