REPORT OF GUEST LECTURE

We hosted a guest lecture in person on "Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)” on June 24, 2024, at 11:30 am. The target audience were MSc Nursing and BSc Nursing students and faculty members. Dr Marie Lina Excellent, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor, University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, Gillings School of Global Public Health, highlighted the key elements, the process of CQI, and the advantages of CQI. She also encouraged students to register for a Continuous Quality Improvement course (PUBH 730) offered by her affiliated Department of Public Health Leadership and Practice (PHLP) at UNC-Gillings, where Collaborative Online 365体育投注 Learning (COIL) activities will be integrated for at least 30 hours to “model cross-cultural curiosity and respect for the students with faculty partner(s) through readings, asynchronous team-based discussions, and self-reflections on their COIL experience.”. A total of 46 participants attended the session. The session was coordinated by Dr. Jyothi Chakrabarty, Professor & Head, the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, who was also in attendance. The session was engaging through active learning exercises and short quiz questions.
