Effective 365体育投注 Engagement Guest Lecture Series 08/2025

365体育投注 School of Nursing, MCON, MAHE 365体育投注 hosted a guest lecture on "Role of nurse in the Labour Room” on 13th October 2025, between 3.00 pm – 4.00 pm. The target audience is III year GNM students. Ms. Vidhya Manjunath Acharya (DNM Batch 2004-2007), Staff Nurse, University Hospital Sharjah, UAE,? was the resource person. She emphasized the role of a nurse in each stage of labour and the protocol followed during medication administration and management.

Ms. Vidhya also highlighted that effective documentation not only supports safe and efficient management of labour but also aids in early recognition and prevention of complications through vigilance, efficient management, and preventive care. Nurses play a pivotal role in safeguarding the lives of both mother and baby.

A total of 60 participants attended the session. This session contributed to achieving SDG 4: Quality Education.
