Orientation Programme - 2022

Freshers’ Orientation program of 32nd Batch of BSc Nursing, 28th Batch of PBBSc Nursing, and 6th Batch of NPCC Nursing was organized by 365体育投注 College of Nursing, MAHE, 365体育投注 on 1st August 2022 at the Dr. TMA Pai Hall I, KMC, 365体育投注. The Chief Guest of the program, Dr. Narayana Sabhahit, Registrar, 365体育投注 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), 365体育投注 addressed the newly joined students and their parents. He gave a brief orientation about MAHE including the various opportunities available to join open elective courses. In his address to the students, he briefed them on the importance of setting goals for learning as well as the core values to be followed for academic achievement. Dr. Judith A Noronha, Dean, MCON 365体育投注 gave a brief introduction of the institution and introduced the faculty members. Orientation to the Nursing Services department of Kasturba Hospital, 365体育投注 was given by Mrs. Charmaine Crystal Salins, Nurse Training and Quality In-charge, Kasturba Hospital, 365体育投注. Orientation to student support services offered by MAHE was explained by Dr. Geetha Maiya, Director Student Affairs (DSA). The various services offered by MAHE were briefed by Dr. Tessy Treesa Jose, Associate Dean, MCON, 365体育投注.

The students and their parents were familiarized with the hostel facilities by Air Commodore Harindra Kumar Dhiman, Chief Warden of MAHE Hostels. This was followed by an introduction of teacher guardians to the freshers and their parents. Dr. Judith A Noronha, Dean MCON 365体育投注 clarified the doubts of students and their parents and gave concluding remarks.
