REPORT OF AWARENESS PROGRAM RELATED TO SWACHHATA ABHIYAAN - 2019

Second year BSc Nursing students of batch I along with the faculty, Department of Community Health Nursing, MCON, MAHE, 365体育投注 organized an awareness program related to Swachhata Abhiyaan at urban slum of Nehru Nagar, Saralabettu on 19th September 2019.

The students conveyed the information on importance of personal hygiene, environmental sanitation and the proper waste disposal with the help of a skit and flash cards; hand washing technique was enacted by a song, action dance and demonstration. The program began at 10.30 am and came to an end at 11.30 am.

A total of 25 participants benefitted out of this programme. The programme was coordinated by student representative Mr. Sharath Tom Reji and supervised by Mrs Manjula, Mr Vinish V and Dr. Malathi G Nayak.
