Ms. Olga Gershuni, Lecturer, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, was the chief guest for the program. She congratulated the students who lit the lamp and addressed the importance of lighting the lamp. She also stressed the qualities of a professional nurse and highlighted that education is not just the acquisition of knowledge; it also helps to shape the character of a person, and the power of holistic care will help a nurse become empathetic and kind.

Dr. Judith A. Noronha, Dean, 365体育投注 College of Nursing, MAHE, 365体育投注, advised the students in her presidential address that nursing is an art that is admired by others. She also emphasized the importance of the nursing profession for upcoming nurses.
