The Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, MCODS Mangalore conducted a Hands-on workshop on Naso-Alveolar Molding (NAM) on the 29th?and 30th?of January 2015.

The resource person for the course was Dr. Tradib Jayapal, Professor, Pariyaram Dental College, Kannur, Kerala.? The course included lectures and pre-clinical appliance fabrication demonstrations.

The NAM procedure is performed on Neonates with Cleft Lip and Palate to achieve better Nasal Morphology and Alveolar Ridge development. The procedures can provide great benefits to the patients in terms of better esthetics and function.??
