On January 14, 2025, a highly impactful session on Mental Well-Being was successfully conducted at WGSHA, addressing the challenges and coping mechanisms faced by students transitioning to college life.

The event began with a motivating welcome address by the Principal, setting the tone for an insightful day. Mr. Roshan Davids highlighted the various student welfare resources available for mental health support, ensuring students know the avenues they can access when in need.

Dr. Rayan Charles delivered an inspiring talk on the importance of hard work and dedication as the cornerstones of success, encouraging students to persevere through challenges. A thought-provoking short film created by KMC students was screened, showcasing the sudden changes and adjustments students often face at the start of their college journey.

Ms. Karuna provided valuable insights into the initial struggles students commonly experience, sharing practical advice and fostering a sense of empathy and understanding. This was followed by an engaging session with Mr. Calvin, who outlined effective coping strategies for managing stress and navigating academic pressures with resilience.

Student Ms. Vridhi Nagpal introduced the esteemed speakers, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Sudhiksha S, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the speakers, organizers, and attendees for their contributions to the event’s success. The faculty and course representative, Ms. Haza, skillfully coordinated the session.
