World Pharmacists Day?is devoted to recognizing the contribution of pharmacists and pharmacy professionals for their vital contributions to improving global health. ‘World Pharmacists Day’ was observed at 365体育投注 College of Pharmaceutical Sciences on 25th September 2023 with the theme “Pharmacy strengthening health systems.”

Dr C Mallikarjuna Rao, Principal, MCOPS addressed the staff and students of MCOPS who had gathered in front of the college, at 4:30 PM. His talk focused on the significance of a pharmacist. Dr Rao highlighted that we are an essential part of the healthcare infrastructure, contributing significantly to improving the overall efficiency of healthcare delivery.

In honour of this day, the pharmacist's oath was sworn by all the members of the faculty and students of all batches led by Dr D Sreedhar. The oath emphasized the principles such as?patient care, integrity, respect for individuals and dedication to the advancement of the pharmacy profession.
