The division is dedicated to pioneering research and education in reproductive sciences, with a focus on understanding the intricate mechanisms that govern fertility, development, and reproductive health. We follow multidisciplinary approach that integrates molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, physiology, and biotechnology to explore fundamental and applied aspects of reproductive biology.

M.Sc in Reproductive and Developmental Biology

M.Sc. in Reproductive and Developmental Biology is a full-time, 2 years master degree program. In-depth training will be provided to the students in basic reproductive physiology, early embryo development, post implantation development, contraception, reproductive toxicology and teratology. The course curriculum involves interactive lectures, group discussions, one-to-one training and exposure to cutting edge techniques. Students will have an opportunity to get the research experience by engaging in six months research project on a specific aspect of reproductive/ developmental biology and internship in the industry. The division also offers integrated PhD program in Reproductive Biology for talented B.Sc. student, enabling them to save nearly a year compared to the traditional master's-to-PhD route.

Admission: Admission to this course is through the Common Entrance Test conducted by MAHE, followed by an interview. Call for admissions is advertised on the website.

Eligibility: B. Sc. with one of the subject in Reproduction / Biotechnology / Zoology / Biochemistry/ Biosciences / Physiology / Microbiology or with any other relevant biological science subjects with 60% aggregate or equivalent.

Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
