Course Description

This fellowship focuses on specialised training in Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) for thoracic & gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies. It offers in-depth exposure to SBRT planning and delivery using cutting-edge technology and emphasises a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Focus

  • Training in SBRT for Thoracic and GI cancers such as lung, pancreatic, liver, and colorectal malignancies.
  • Integration of imaging modalities like MRI, SPECT and PET-CT in treatment planning.
  • Clinical exposure to managing patients undergoing SBRT.

Eligibility

  • MD/DNB in Radiation Oncology or equivalent qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission.
  • Prior experience or interest in Thoracic & GI oncology is preferred but not mandatory.
