Guest lecture on Entrepreneurial avenues in Healthcare - Challenges by Dr. Shreedhar Rao

Healthcare Management forum of School of Management had organized a guest lecture for MBA Healthcare Management students by Dr. Shreedhar Rao, Founder & Director of Dr. Rao’s Ayurveda Sanctuary, Udupi, on February 27, 2015. SOM has been organizing a series of guest lectures under banner of “Doctor’s experience lecture series” to update the student community with real-time inputs from healthcare professionals. In continuation of the series, Dr. Rao has addressed on the topic ‘Entrepreneurial avenues in Healthcare - Challenges’. He emphasized on opportunities in setting up healthcare centers in the field of Indian medicine system under the banner of medical tourism. Dr. Rao shared his experience and the issues that need to be taken care of while establishing internationally catering healthcare service units. He highlighted that less explored/unexplored areas need to be tapped while planning for setting up once own enterprises to achieve success. Dr. Swathi K S delivered the welcome address and student member Ms. Deena Grace Abhigael introduced the guest speaker to the gathering.?
