The Thermal Instrumentation Lab is a crucial component of postgraduate curriculum of the Mechanical Engineering. It offers students practical exposure to thermal and fluid systems. The lab is equipped with advanced instruments like Plate Heat Exchanger, Shell and Fins Tube Heat Exchanger, Automatic Bomb Calorimeter, Packed Bed Heat Exchanger, Calibration of Flow Meters, Separating and Throttling Calorimeter and Cooling Tower setups. It also features cutting-edge tools for measuring temperature, pressure, and flow rates, integrated with data acquisition systems for real-time monitoring and analysis. These resources enable experiments in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics, fostering hands-on learning and research in thermal engineering.?
