Infant oral health clinic- KINDER CARE

Department of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry launched their new initiative “KINDER CARE” (a clinic dedicated to infant oral health care) on 28^thNovember 2016. Mrs. Vasanthi R Pai inaugurated the clinic and dedicated the services to the community.

The aim of this initiative is to provide counseling and anticipatory guidance to expectant mothers and new parents about oral developmental milestones and sound oral health related behaviors to safeguard oral health of the child.?

An educative booklet “smiling mums and laughing babies” was also released on this occasion. This initiative is in line with the theme of Indian Society of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry for the year 2016 “Healthy mother smiling child”.
