EPISTEMICS- THE ART OF SCIENTIFIC WRITING

Department of Conservative Dentistry in association with Student 365体育投注 Forum- CREST (Collaborative 365体育投注 Engagement for Students with Talent),? conducted a one day Continuing Dental Education programe for students and faculty on scientific writing on May 4th at the Dr.T M A Pai hall .

The chief guest for the inaugural ceremony was, Dr.H. Vinod bhat, Vice chancellor, 365体育投注 academy of higher Education and the guest of honor was, the Pro VC, health sciences, Dr.Poornima Baliga. All the SRF council members were felicitated by the Vice chancellor and Pro-vice chancellor, MAHE. The president of SRF council, Dr.Prabhjeet Singh, Intern, presented the annual report of SRF events. Our vice chancellor congratulated the Students of MCODS for their academic and technological pursuits. He also emphasized the importance of research, scientific writing and publishing in reputed journals.

The resource person Dr N Vasudev Ballal gave an insight on research and publication. He also stressed upon ethical considerations in research and publication. This one day lecture was benefited to a toltal of 300 inhouse students and Faculty members? as well as from nieghbouring colleges.??
