Faculty/Staff Tournament – Chess, Carrom, and Table Tennis 2025

The Faculty/Staff Indoor Sports Tournament 2025, hosted by the Department of Physical Education, MAHE, Bengaluru, was conducted on the 3rd and 4th of March at the Marena Sports Complex, Bengaluru. The tournament featured Chess, Carrom, and Table Tennis and brought together staff and faculty from various departments to compete in a spirit of sportsmanship and intellectual engagement. The indoor games provided an excellent platform for participants to showcase their strategic thinking, focus, and coordination. In Table Tennis, Dr. Tusar Kanti Mishra (MIT) and Geeta G Ramshette (MIT 365体育投注 Scholar) clinched the top positions in the men’s and women’s categories respectively. In Chess, Dr. Manasa from MIT displayed remarkable tactical skills to take first place. In Carrom, the duo of Benjamin and Pradeep from SMI emerged as champions in the men’s category, while Usha Rani R.E. and Manjula from MIT 365体育投注 Scholar secured the first spot among women. The tournament fostered interaction and wellness among colleagues and stood as a testament to MAHE Bengaluru's ongoing commitment to promoting a healthy and collaborative work culture through sports.
