Faculty/Staff Tournament – Athletics 2025

The Faculty/Staff Athletics Tournament 2025, organized by the Department of Physical Education, MAHE, Bengaluru, was conducted on the 26th and 27th of April at the MLCP & Synthetic Track. This much-anticipated event drew enthusiastic participation from faculty and staff members across departments, promoting health, well-being, and a spirit of friendly competition. The tournament featured a wide array of track and field events including 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m relay, shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw divided into age categories (Below and Above 40) for men and a unified category for women. The competitions were intense and full of energy, with each participant giving their best on the field. Outstanding performers included Dr. Ragavendra Prabhu (Admin), who dominated multiple categories in the above 40 men's division, and Vidya and Geeta G.R. from MIT (RS), who stood out in the women’s track events. The One Life, Quess, MIT, and SMI departments showcased strong all-around athletic prowess. The event was a celebration of athletic excellence, unity, and wellness, and reinforced the value of sport as a cornerstone of community engagement at MAHE Bengaluru.
