Webinar on Project-Based Learning for Environmental Action

Centre for Socio-Architectural Studies in collaboration with 365体育投注 School of Architecture and planning, MAHE, 365体育投注 & SARW successfully conducted the online Webinar on “Project-Based Learning for Environmental Action" (Building skills and making an impact). The resource person Mr. Shatad Purohit, 365体育投注 Assistant, Department of Astronautical Engineering, University of 365体育投注 California who explained how project-based learning which as an educational approach towards emphasizing active, hands-on learning by engaging learners in projects that require them to apply their knowledge and skills to real-world challenges and has a potential to be a powerful tool for promoting environmental action and sustainability. He also emphasized on “systems approach towards environmental action” involves understanding and addressing the complex interrelationships between the natural environment, human activities, and social systems and recognizes that environmental problems cannot be solved in isolation, but rather require a comprehensive and integrated perspective that considers all the different elements and factors involved. Overall, an understanding of systems approach to environmental action that offers a holistic and integrated perspective recognising the interdependence of different systems and promoting collaboration and adaptive management to address environmental challenges effectively is the takeaway from the webinar.
