The Department of Global Public Health Policy and Governance (GPH) typically focuses on the intersection of public health, health policy, and governance structures on a global scale. It aims to address the complex health challenges that cross national borders and portrays the coordinated efforts at the national and international level to address the same. The Department has national and international collaborations and envisions training global health ambassadors of the future towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Department offers the Master of Public Health (MPH) programme with broad specialisations. The curriculum highlights are:

• GPH also facilitates international student exchange with Masstricht and McMaster Universities during the programme.
