Dr. Indranil Saha is an Associate Professor of law at 365体育投注 Law School, 365体育投注 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru and also Coordinator - Centre for IPR Law and 365体育投注, MAHE. He completed his M.Sc. in physics from Presidency College, Kolkata and Ph.D from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. He is a TRIL Fellow of UNESCO and worked on cancer research in Italy, and is also NET qualified. He also holds a LLB degree with honours in Intellectual Property Rights from Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur and LLM in corporate and commercial law. Dr. Saha is also a Registered Indian patent agent and has 12 research publications in peer-reviewed international journals indexed in SCI and SCOPUS, and 02 granted patents as an inventor himself from the Indian Patent Office. He is also an alumnus of IIM-Visakhapatnam and received a silver medal for his capstone project in the course “Fintech, Blockchain and Financial Risk Management”. Dr. Indranil has a unique academic and professional track record of being a scientist turned legal professional, and he has a substantial combined experience of about 12 years in the field of science, technology and law. He is an inventor, educationist, IPR, corporate law and data privacy laws specialist, registered Indian Patent Agent, innovation and technology transfer enthusiast, fintech and artificial intelligence expert. He has been an invited speaker in various domains of law like intellectual property rights, technology transfer, licensing and contracts, data privacy and fintech in several universities and IITs in India, and he has worked in tier-1 law firms like Luthra & Luthra in the IPR team. He has also been associated with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) in relation to its academic matters. The expertise of Dr. Saha includes Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Innovation, Technology Transfer, Corporate Laws, Commercial Contracts, IPR Licensing, Cyber laws & Data Privacy, Fintech and Artificial Intelligence.
